We understand that this very frustrating and disappointing but the error your bumped into is relatively rare and we cannot fix it in our application.


The problem is related to Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) on your computer. Clipà.Vu for Windows Desktop cannot perform without this Windows subsystem being in the perfect condition.

It happens very rarely and usually only on very old Windows installations.


We can guarantee with a probability of 99.9% that if you try to install Clipà.Vu for Windows Desktop on your other computer it will work properly.

The program will run on the affected computer too - but unfortunately only in its limited mode.


There is a little chance you can fix your WMI yourself but if curious you can try to test via any of the diagnosis tool. Just search Internet for "WMI Diagnosis".


We found 2 utilities that you might consider:

- Paessler WMI Tester: It is simpler, just use its Advanced tab and run couple of predefined queries there.

- Microsoft WMI Diagnosis Utility: More powerful but also more demanding on your technical computer skills.

Start with Paessler - it is very simple:

1) Download the program

2) Unzip it

3) Execute WMITest.exe

4) Switch to Advanced tab

5) Select any of the queries

6) Click "Test!" button

7) Repeat 5 and 6 for other queries






Running WMI Diagnostic Utility is simple too:

1) Download the program

2) Unzip it

3) Follow manual described in WMIDiag.doc

4) Execution of WMIDiag.vbs script can take a very long time - even 10 minutes
